The Golden Triangle! The Golden Triangle is a collection of 7 smaller commercial streets that make up the business district of Beverly Hills. "Why is it the Golden Triangle?" It looks like a triangle on the map! And the golden part... well, its Beverly Hills. Pretty self-explanatory. Wally's Beverly Hills. Whether you've been to Wally's or not I am sure you've heard of it before. The iconic Wally's had their original location on Westwood. It has been years since the move but an important fact at that. They have had a huge influence and impact in the dining community in LA. From their extensive wine collection to their fantastic cuisine. Wally's does not fail to impress, and it will leave you coming back for more. Their ambiance is phenomenal, and the crowd is always alive! I would visit Thursday thru Saturday between 7- 11. They do close later, but these are the best times in my opinion. They do not take reservations so there will be a wait upon entering. Feel free to hang around by the bar and grab a drink while you wait for a seat. Here is my go-to plates to order: -Moroccan Cauliflower -Dover Sole -Any of their Charcuterie Boards. AVRA. If you are in the mood for seafood and haven't heard of AVRA well, this is your opportunity. GO EAT THERE! This is another classic located in Beverly Hills just blocks away from Wally's. AVRA is having a great model and this because you can choose your own fish and have it cooked your way. Fried, grilled, pan seared, you decide! They have a long bar where you are accompanied by talented bartenders and a view of the whole restaurant behind you. It has a vibrant and Mediterranean ambiance with an opening to outdoor dining along the patio. If you are looking for a fantastic, classy evening I would highly suggest going. Here are my go-to dishes: -Grilled Octopus -Salmon Tartare -Avra Chips -Any of their fish by the pound. Wine of the Week. Quilceda Creek CVR Red 2017 From the Colombia Valley right here in the US I present you Quilceda Creek! This is a wonderful Cabernet Sauvignon that is bold and tannic. Leather, Oak, and blackberry are its notes that pair great with any type of Beef or Lamb. The US Washington State is the new kid on the block when it comes to wine. Quilceda Creek is here to make a statement. Average price point is $65 The Beach Whispering Angel Rosé Since this is from Whispering Angel there is no need for much of an introduction. Whispering Angel has been one of the top Rosé's out of Provence for years. It has notes of citrus and melon. It is dry and light which makes it a perfect summer wine. Average price point is $17 Prisoner Pinot Noir 2019 Prisoner has been in the wine game for a while now and they know how to make wine. This Pinot Noir is nothing less than luxury!
