MARCH ISTBeverly Hills NewsletterVOLUME #1MARCH 1ST | BHNEWSLETTER.COM | 818.268.0046From one End to the OtherThis week I am bouncing between Santa Monica and Beverlwood and let me tell you, it is definitely worth it. Both of these places have a nice ambiance with a bistro feel to it. Fantastic food, drinks and a superb crowd. That is the equation for a good restaurant in my books Simplicity is key here Bicyclette Bicyclette is home to classic bistro style Parisian dining. The owners of Bicyclette aren't new to the restaurant world, as they also own Republique in Mid City Los AngelesBicyclette truly captured the ambiance of French cuisine. From the wooden chairs and benches to the rustic lights scattered throughout. They comfortably seat 80 with 10 seats right at the bar. They serve specialty cocktails and carry an extensive wine list featuring wines by the glass and of course by the bottle. They feature wines from Rhone Valley, Bordeaux, Provence, etc. A true Parisian experience features great wine with its food and Bicyclette embodies that. Manzke is something I will get into in a future newsletter. Manzke is the name of the owner but also the name of their fine dining restaurant located upstairs Bicyclette "L'eau fait pleurer, le vin chanter" - Water makes one cry, wine makes one sing Lunetta Lunetta was actually introduced to me by a good friend, ever since my first visit I was hooked. Lunetta offers a boutique menu approach with fresh ingredients. When I say boutique I'm emphasizing on the selection, yes they have a variety ot items to choose from. However, it is straight forward, simple, and most importantly well constructed. Lunetta actually has two sides to the story, literally! They are lucky enough to have two dining room options. The image pictured above is their Lunetta Fine Dining side, more of a dark and romantic approach. They also have their "All Day" side where they serve amazing breaktast and of course dinner. Lunetta has a great staff, and I mean a phenomenal one. From their bartenders all the way down to the executive chef/partner Emilio. Raphael Lunetta, the owner of the place has a nuge influence on the culture anc ambiance. I've always felt welcomed and well treated every time I step into LunettaLunetta is worth the visit, whether you stop by for a drink at the bar or a meal with the family; trust me when I say you won't regret it. @DAVIDYREALTY Wine of the Week "'Men are like wine- some turn to vinegar, but the best improve with age." - Pope John XXIII Vieux Château Saint André - Bordeaux Bold and Dry... this is the perfect pairing for any kind of meat. poultry or fish. With notes of plum, oak and leather this is what I call a true Bordeaux. This is from Bordeaux Saint-Emilion which needs no introduction. Fantastic wine that is definitely worth the price tag Average price is $55 Santa Duc - Rhone Valley Rhone Valley or as I call it the home of the Syrah, is one of the top regions in France Rhone Valley is South of France closer to the sea resulting in a Mediterranean climate. Different grapes strive in different climates. Syrah is a go to grape that thrives in these weather conditions. This wine is bold, straight forward and full of flavor. Average Price is $40 Château Pradeaux- Provence Here is a niche rose for vou! This winery is more discreet and boutique, sticking to its traditional ways of wine making. It is not a heavy hitter top 10 Rose but definitely worth the try. Provence is crème de la crème when it comes to Rose Average Price is $20 BEVERLY HILLS WWW.DAVIDYREALTY.COM.
