APRIL 11THBeverly Hills NewsletterVolume #1APRIL 11TH | bhnewsletter.com | 818.268.0046Hotels Remain Superior.......Historically speaking hotels have always been the pinnacle of luxury. Exquisite rooms, fine dining, and of course fantastic service. This remains somewhat true in todays world. Hotels attract a certain crowd, the ones seeking for a unique ambiance. In other words, "A home away from home". Each hotel has its own vibe, mood and setting. This is the beauty for me as it attracts and caters to different crowds and personalities.Casa Madera I Mondrian HotelCasa Madera isn't doing anything new, and I don't mean that offensively. If anything they are the ones who coined this Tulum inspired Mexican Cuisine. The Tocaya Organica and Toca Madera Group are the ones responsible for Casa Madera's success. The Toca Group opened Casa Madera only a few months ago and the success has been huge. With summer time approaching this Tulum inspired restaurant is the perfect place to go specially being located in the Mondrian Hotel. The Hotel is beautifully located on Sunset Blvd giving you crystal clear skies and a gorgeous view of LA. This is more than just a place to come eat, they offer a great bar that has two sides to sit. Definitely a must go whether you live in LA or not!Merois I Pendry HotelMerois is one of Wolfgang Puck's newer Restaurants that opened in West Hollywood in 2021. Being a Wolfgang Restaurant you already know the food needs no introduction or explanation. The food is superb and the peeking duck is the highlight of this restaurant. Of course there are many other things to order such as the chicken dumplings or even the crab fried rice. Merois does a fantastic job brining five star dining to a rooftop setting. This is why I think Wolfgang chose the Pendry Hotel. The Pendry is one of the newer hotels on Sunset Blvd and I have mentioned them before in a prior article regarding the Britley Social Club. Pendry is a five star hotel with five star service, there is no other way to put it. It's well put together without the snobby feel. Whether you want to eat a nice meal or grab a drink by the bar I highly recommend checking them out."A Hotel isn't like a home, but it's better than being a house guest" - William FeatherWine of the Week"In Vino Veritas" - "In wine there is truth" – Italian ProverbAntorini Tignanello- Tuscany Antorini has been making wines since 1385 and they have perfected Tuscan Wine. Tignanello is the creme de la creme and I think it is the luxury textbook example of how Tuscan Wine should taste. It is dry, smooth and just about pairs well with anything. Average price is $150 La Poderina - Brunello di Montalcino Brunello is Central Italy Tuscan wine and is made from Sangiovese Grapes. Italian Brunello is like saying Chanel or Prada, you really can't go wrong with any bottle. However, I do think this bottle is a great price for the way it drinks. Average Price is $60 Mazzei Phillip- Tuscany Good luck finding this one because rumor has it they have stopped their distribution to the states. However, if you are able to get a bottle I will say this is the best wine to drink without any food or hors d'oeuvres. Average Price is $50@DAVIDYREALTYBeverly hills | www.DAVIDYREALTY.COM All photos credited to Eater LA and Vivino
